Economic Recovery Volunteer Interest Form
Since Hurricane Katrina, IEDC has been working in disaster-impacted communities and has developed volunteer programs for economic recovery and long-term resiliency.
Through generous grants by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, IEDC is providing a range of assistance in the economic recovery and resiliency strategies in disaster impacted communities. The aim of these efforts are to help local economic developers and community leaders get businesses back up and running and increasing the post-disaster survival rate of local companies so that people can return to work as quickly as possible.
IEDC is gathering volunteers to serve in various capacities that address community requests and needs.
Currently, IEDC is assigning volunteers to communities in Arkansas, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
