Gwinnett Symphony Youth Orchestra Membership Application
Thank you for your interest in the Gwinnett Symphony Youth Orchestra. GSYO performs three concerts a year:

Fall String Orchestra Concert
Winter String Orchestra Concert
Spring Full Orchestra Concert (adding woodwinds, brass, and percussion after spring break).

String Students will range from advanced middle school to advanced high school students. Strings are asked to sign up between May 1st and August 1st each year. Acceptance notices and general information for the upcoming season will be sent out late summer/early fall. Rehearsals start after Labor Day.

Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion students are asked to sign up between January and February (after all-state audition results are posted). These positions are open to advanced high school students and preference is given to those who have performed with the GMEA All-State Band or All-State Orchestra, District Honor Band and/or other equivalent ensembles. Students will be notified of their acceptance by February and would participate in GSYO Tuesday rehearsals after Spring Break and the May concert.

Please see our website for concert dates: www.gwinnettsymphony.org
