CRI Properties - Rental Application

-- A $50 application fee is required per approved application. This fee will be due at lease signing.
-- Each applicant must be at least 18 years of age and each applicant must sign the lease.
-- Each applicant must complete a separate application unless married. If married, both husband and wife must sign the application.
-- It is not our policy to use a co-signer. If the landlord approves a co-signer, the co-signer must reside in Onslow County and must complete a separate application.
-- Applicants must furnish a photo ID at time of application.
-- Military applicants must have an EAS date that exceeds lease agreement duration.
Basic Qualification Criteria-- Qualification is NOT on a first-come basis. In the event multiple applications are received on the same property, the most qualified applicant will be given priority. The general criteria for all applications are good income, credit, and rental history, proving the ability to make timely rental payments and care for the property. False documentation is immediate grounds for denial of an application. Your income must be at least 2.5 times the rent amount. Applicants are required to supply reasonable, reliable, and legal documentation of all income. A credit report will be obtained for all applicants. We do not accept copies of credit reports from applicants. Rental References or Ownership Verification, if required, must be verifiable. Family references are not acceptable.
Pet Policy-- It is required that you list all animals/pets of any size, kind, or type on application. Please annotate if any of your pets are service animals (proper documentation will be required.) A non-refundable pet fee of $200 will be charged per pet if the owner allows the pet. *Note: Some properties may require a higher pet fee or higher rent payment. All animals must be approved prior to and during tenancy. SNAKES, DOBERMAN PINSCHERS, CHOW-CHOS, AKITAS, PIT BULLS, WOLF HYBRIDS, ROTTWEILERS, MASTIFFS, GERMAN SHEPARDS, or any dog that has any of these breeds in their linage are prohibited.
Hold Policy-- We will hold a property for 10 days from its availability date with an approved application, signed lease, and paid security deposit.
Smoking Policy-- All CRI Properties rental homes are to be maintained smoke-free. In the event the home requires remediation of a smoke smell or repairs due to burns, you will be charged for this service.
Renters' Insurance-- You are required to provide and maintain renters' insurance throughout your tenancy. Proof of this insurance will be required upon request.
**There will be a $50 fee to do a credit check. We are a member of the Experian reporting system and want to make you aware that your credit references will be checked prior to you signing a lease. This fee will not be charged if you do not qualify or rent from another agency.**
