Help us bring in the autumn season by spreading scarecrows across the Sealy Community! Awards for Most Creative, Funniest, Spookiest, and most Community Pride.  There is no cost to enter the contest. Simply register, and begin brainstorming your scarecrow plans! Have your scarecrows up by October 13 and down November 1.

If you don't have a location it for it, one will be sent to you by email from info@sealychamber.com

Scarecrow Contest Agreement

I understand that the Scarecrow Decorating Contest will take place October 13–27, 2024. To be guaranteed consideration for judging, my entry must be completed no later than October 10, 2024.

  • Scarecrows must be secure and able to sit or stand on their own, using only props or supports that I provide.

  • All scarecrows must be family-friendly (no obscene or inappropriate content).

  • All scarecrows must be removed, and areas cleaned of hay, debris, etc., by November 1, 2024.

  • The Sealy Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury related to scarecrow displays. Participants are responsible for maintaining their entries and ensuring they are safe and secure throughout the contest.
