As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide in-store customer consultations, sharing your expertise and guiding customers to the best products for their needs
Teach engaging fishing classes both in-store and remotely via Zoom, sharing your knowledge with a wide audience
Research and create compelling educational content, both in our studio and out on the water, showcasing your skills and insights
Assist our Catch Happy fishing guides as a deckhand, gaining valuable hands-on experience
Maintain and manage our live bait aquarium, ensuring the highest quality bait for our customers
For the right candidate, we offer a path to becoming a licensed Catch Happy Captain and fishing guide, providing the support and resources needed to turn your passion into a successful career.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
Extensive knowledge and experience in various fishing techniques and environments
An open mind and willingness to learn, experiment, and adapt to new ideas and methods
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with customers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced anglers
Basic proficiency with computers and mobile devices
We offer hourly compensation, commissions for seminars, and additional project-based earning opportunities.
