Summer Kayak Tour 2026 - Sign Ups CLOSED
The NSWC is providing the opportunity for 10 members of our community to participate in a 2-hour guided kayak tour. This free tour is aimed at low-income women and gender diverse folks who reside on the North Shore. It is meant to be an opportunity for those who would not be able to afford to do an activity like this on their own.

The tour is scheduled for August 14, 2026 at 12:00pm. You must arrive 15 minutes early at 11:45am to allow for some time to ensure waivers are signed, and all are present before we can start the tour.

There will be a small snack provided after the end of the tour, but please be prepared to bring your own food if you feel you will need it. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat and wear non-cotton/athletic clothes, as they dry faster and keep you warmer when wet.

Be prepared to get wet, as water can splash into your boat. A change of clothes & shoes is a great idea (there is a change room at the Kayak Centre).

Anne will be taking photos throughout the tour, some of which may be posted on our website and/or social media. You will be asked to fill out a photo release consent form, so we know whether you consent to your photo being shared or not.

If you have signed up, we will confirm whether you are attending by August 7th
