2024 Little Athletics State Relay Championships
St  Leonards Athletics  Centre, Launceston
Saturday 10th February 2024.

LATas State Relay Championships will be held in  Launceston at the St Leonards Athletics Centre on Saturday 10th February 2023.
The Championship events (heats and finals) for U8-U15 will include the following:
U8 - U15 4 x 100m relay
U9 - U15 4 x 200m relay
U9 - U15 Swedish relay (1x100m, 1x200m, 1x300m & 1x400m)
U8 - U15 Field Event relay

Please note - as per National restrictions we are not able to offer Championship events of any form to Under 6 and Under 7 athletes. An "invitational" relay will be offered to Under 6 and Under 7 athletes with participation ribbons to be awarded. There will be no charge for these events.
Under 6, 7 and 8 athletes will be offered a long jump event while the 4 x 200m relays are being conducted.

LATas entry fees:
$25 per athlete (payable to the centre prior to competition).
No charge for U6 and U7 athletes.
Nominations close Wednesday 31st January 2024 with teams announced shortly thereafter.

We will be needing Team Managers for each team so please indicate on the nomination form if you are willing to take on this role. It’s not a huge undertaking and you don’t need experience, it’s simply organising your teams on the day and communicating with families around training, making sure everyone has a centre top etc.

Once teams are announced, families will be advised of the entry fees owed and the payment options (canteen at CLAC using eft/cash or payment to your Relay Team Manager).
Further information regarding centre tops and training opportunities will be shared once teams are announced.

Age Group Managers: please start canvassing your age groups to gauge interest and encourage athletes to nominate. We would love to have as many teams as possible representing CLAC at these championships.
