Purpose
The information requested is for statistical reporting only and helps measure Downtown North Wilkesboro's economic development and revitalization progress based on our mission, goals, and commitment as a NC Main Street Designated Community and Main Street America Accredited Program.
Reporting information can increase our access to grants, programs and incentives that can directly benefit our district.
Please only provide relevant data during the period beginning July 1st, 2025, until June 30th, 2026, occurring within our district's boundaries as shown below.
*If you are also the property owner that is located at the same address as the business you own, please fill out the property owner survey as well for each of your properties located within the district boundaries.

Questions
The survey will ask questions about the following topics occurring in the downtown district between July 1st, 2025, and June 30th, 2026:
- New jobs created and jobs lost (#)
- Businesses opened and closed (#)
- Expansions (#)
- Square feet of occupied space or property (#)
- Rental rates ($)
- Economic impact of downtown events ($)
It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Privacy
Your responses will be kept confidential*. Data collected will be totaled and submitted to the NC Main Street reporting platform for the entire downtown district to track any growth, utilized to promote the downtown district, and used to create an annual report of the program. No individual data will be shared.
*The only info that will be shared is identified with an asterisk. This info will be added or updated on our downtown website's business directory.
