Our objective: to promote the interests of research staff in MU
To provide a forum for research staff to meet, network and discuss issues of mutual concern and in so doing to build a cross-disciplinary MU research community.
To act as a voice for MU researchers to articulate and promote their views and to liaise with MU authorities.
To improve the status and promote the rights of researchers on fixed contracts within MU, commensurate with their contribution, experience and responsibilities and seek to improve our working conditions.
To encourage greater recognition of the contribution of researchers to academic life through parity of esteem and reward.
