I recognize that our progress and democracy are not to be taken for granted, but that the price of progress is our unrelenting effort.

To that end, I commit to give 200 hours of my time, energy and effort – 2 hours a week from now until the November 2018 mid-term elections – to working for our common cause:

To standing up for what we believe in – justice, equality, progress, and the fundamental rights and dignity of every human being;

To fighting what we stand against – hatred, discrimination, inequity, and injustice, and the normalization of this new reality;

To laying the groundwork, now, to be ready for 2018 and thereafter.

This is my commitment.
