This year, Personal Democracy Forum is excited to offer 10 fellowships for international participants. PDF International Fellows can be technologists, activists, journalists, artists, government employees, entrepreneurs, policy experts, organizers, academics, or others so long as you are engaging with some big challenges in civic technology such as fighting misinformation in the digital public sphere, working on closing the digital divide, confronting Internet censorship, creating new technologies for public well-being in emerging economies, defending democracy and human rights, working on Internet privacy, and more!

Fellows should demonstrate or have the following:
-- Commitment to civic tech, or technology in the service of the public good
-- Ongoing work in or around civic tech
-- Openness and empathy
-- Strong proficiency in English
-- Have a valid passport that is eligible for a U.S. visa (if applicable)
-- Are currently not residing in the United States (though Native Americans living on reservation are encouraged to apply)

Facebook is generously sponsoring this fellowship which includes:
-- Round trip economy flight
-- Ticket to PDF
-- 2 nights hotel

Fellows will be expected to actively participate in the forum and our soon-to-be-launched online community platform, as well as to have lunch with the Facebook team during PDF.
