UROP Student Interest Form
The Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) seeks to enrich undergraduate students' academic experience at SJSU by directly engaging them in research, scholarship, and creative activity early in their careers. In the program, students will work up to 10 hours per week with a faculty mentor in their discipline or study of interest on research-related projects. Students will enroll in a year-long (4-unit) curriculum with other peers as part of a cohort model, where they will receive dedicated peer mentorship, professional networking opportunities, and the chance to present their work at two end-of-year research symposiums.
