Hasta el día de hoy, no ha habido alguna acción legislativa para CANCELAR al pago de renta y alquiler durante la pandemia. Tampoco se han implementado protecciones que verdaderamente protejan a los inquilinos de futuro alojamiento y la clase obrera sigue acumulando deudas por causa la pandemia. Mientras tanto, el gobierno ha otorgado trillones de dólares a la bolsa de valores para librar a ejecutivos y los miembros de su junta directiva de sus obligaciones financieras.

No podemos contar del apoyo del Estado; sólo tenemos nuestro apoyo mutuo y de la comunidad. Por lo debido, se ha creado esta recaudación de fondos. Como miembros de la Iglesia de Los Hombres Son Basura (un collectivo de feministas), decidimos recaudar fondos para apoyar a miembros de la comunidad que no son beneficiarios de DACA y:

**indocumentada/o que forman parte de la comunidad LGBTQ,
**indocumentado/o padres/madres/guardianes/tutores legales solterxs
***y/o son personas Negras indocumentados.

Nuestra meta es continuar recaudando fondos para poder otorgar ayuda financiera a todos los nominados. Estos fondos serán otorgados a miembros de la comunidad indocumentada que están pasando por dificultad financiera y no son elegibles para recibir el cheque de estímulo de parte del gobierno. Dependiendo en la cantidad que se recaude, estaremos otorgando el dinero a uno o varios miembros de la comunidad. Los beneficiarios de los fondos se elegirán al azar.

So far, there has been no true legislation passed to CANCEL rent through the pandemic. Nor has there been any protections set to truly protect tenants from future evictions, and the working class is accumulating even more debt during this pandemic. However, trillions of dollars have been given to the stock market, and to bail out corporate CEO's and their boards.

We cannot count on the state to save us, we only have each other and community support. Thus the creation of this fundraiser.

As the Church of Men are Trash (a queer angry feminist collective), we've decided to raise funds for folks who are going through financial hardship, not eligible for DACA and:
**undocumented queer,
**undocumented single parents
**undocumented black

Depending on how much money we are able to raise, we will be awarding the money to one or more folks. Recipients are chosen randomly. Our goal is to continue fundraising every month to eventually give all nominated folks funds.

**ALL funds will be given to Undocumented folks who will not be receiving (nor eligible) for a stimulus check due to status & have a financial hardship.**
