Packed with Pride: COVID19 Response Volunteer Form
All schools in the Tigard-Tualatin School District are closed until further notice for students. District leaders are monitoring the public health situation daily and continue to communicate with the Oregon Health Authority and Washington County Public Health. We hope that this situation will be controlled very soon, but it is possible that schools will be closed longer. During this closure, it is critical that all members of our community are taken care of. This form is for people interested in volunteering to support the needs of children, families, and vulnerable people in our area.
If you feel sick (even a little bit) with any symptoms of illness, we ask that you stay home and not offer to volunteer in person. If anyone in your household shows any signs of illness or sickness, please stay home. Additionally, we ask that all individuals over the age of 60 or who have underlying health issues refrain from volunteering in person. There are other ways to help remotely (indicated in the form below) where you will be exposed to less external risk. Any in-person volunteering (including delivery) will be done in small groups with social distancing and sanitation protocols in place to minimize risk.
Please note that this is an unprecedented situation and things are changing very quickly. We are working hard to build the infrastructure for volunteers to contribute -- but we are ourselves only volunteers doing our best to make sure our community is taken care of. Please be patient and understanding.
While we will be implementing safety and sanitation protocols, we cannot guarantee the lack of contamination -- all volunteers participate at their own risk.
