Can’t make it to Bengaluru this November? We’re excited to offer a virtual committee experience as part of YMUN South Asia 2025. This year’s virtual offering is the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) - an intermediate-level committee tackling some of the most urgent global challenges in drug policy, public health, and international cooperation.
As the UN’s primary policymaking body on drug control, CND requires delegates to engage with complex and evolving issues such as the proliferation of synthetic drugs, global cannabis reforms, and the tension between law enforcement and public health approaches. Delegates will need to navigate these debates with diplomacy, innovation, and cultural sensitivity.
Selected applicants will receive an official registration form upon acceptance. Participation in the virtual committee is offered at a significantly lower cost than the in-person conference, and will include interactive sessions and a full conference weekend experience - entirely online.
Apply now to be a part of this unique and accessible opportunity to represent your country, collaborate globally, and make your voice heard on one of the world’s most pressing policy fronts. Feel free to email dg.committees@ymunsouthasia.org with any questions.
