Following a record Spring edition, we are delighted to open the Wales Haiku Journal Summer Competition 2026.

We invite haiku writers everywhere to share their reflections on summer - its warmth, stillness, movement, and passing - through work that attends closely to the natural world.

Traditional, experimental, monoku, and senryu are all welcome.
There is no 5-7-5 requirement.
We are looking for clarity, presence, and resonance.

Results announced: 15th August 2026
