GKTC's Parent Cohort Registration - Wait List
Thank you for your interest in our Parent Cohort! Registration for our current series of classes is now closed. The next session is not yet scheduled, but will begin early fall of 2022. Please read the information below and complete this form to be notified when registration for the next Cohort opens.

The Cohort is conducted over a 5 month period, split into 10 webinars which meet online twice per month. You will have live, online classes led by practitioners here at GKTC; in addition to moderated online discussion groups.

This program is intended to grow a foundation of knowledge that will be expanded upon with your registered S2C practitioner. It will not teach the introductory usage of the letter board, as it is presumed you have already started doing so. Rather, it focuses on theory (e.g., anxiety, loops, dysregulation) and application (e.g., writing lessons, teaching through visual/ kinesthetic/auditory/tactile modes). It also covers the many other roles of communication partners, which includes regulation, advocacy, and supporting your student's motor processes off the letter boards. Participants represent a wide variety of age and fluency levels, the topics are designed to be applicable to all.

The webinars are one hour and fifteen minutes in length, and will be instructed via powerpoint slides and group conversation on the Zoom video platform. All classes are recorded for later review or in the event you miss a session.

When registration opens, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your interest in joining the cohort. Within a few days following confirmation, you will receive a tuition invoice for $750, payable online. Full payment is due 2 weeks prior to the start of the cohort unless other arrangements are made. Prior to the first session, you will receive information from the instructor with details about the course. Please ensure your information above is correct, because all course communications will be sent to that address.
