1. Types of Participation in MN GreenStep Schools

The primary focus of Minnesota GreenStep Schools is institutional participation of school districts and individual schools, both of which can receive recognition through the program. The program also offers participation for student "GreenStep Clubs" who work on school greening activities and for “GreenStep Resource Organizations” such as non-profits, businesses, professional societies, governmental units, and other groups wishing to support the efforts of districts and schools with information, training, materials, time, or financial support. Individual participation includes a variety of ways to get involved.
