MNA Parks Pass Registration
In 2018, the MNA and Parks Canada signed the Open Doors Agreement, allowing MNA citizens free access to all national parks and historic sites in Alberta.

Now MNA citizens, over the age of 16, have their own exclusive parks pass to display for easy entry. There is now no need to stop at the gates and show your MNA card.

Enjoy your time in these historic Métis lands!

A Note on Kananaskis Country/Bow Valley

In 2021 the Alberta government introduced the Kananaskis Conservation Pass. Vehicles parked at provincial park and public land sites in Kananaskis Country and the Bow Valley need a Conservation Pass. Buy your Kananaskis Country Conservation Pass here.

The MNA Parks Pass does not provide access to provincial parks like Kananaskis Country. It only applies to national parks and historic sites which are listed on our Parks Pass FAQ’s.
