Family Advent Kits
In partnership with Jill Gidlund and as a part of the "Music with Mr. Michael" program, we will be creating a multivalent Advent experience in 2020 that explores what the community of creation has to say about the birth of Jesus.

Each week will explore a different aspect of creation:

Week 1: The Women (Luke 1.26-56)
Week 2: Hay, Unnamed hosts (Luke 2.1-7)
Week 3: Animals, shepherds, angels (Luke 2.8-20)
Week 4: Stars/Wise Men (Matthew 2.1-12)

To correspond with this theme, we are creating a Family Advent Kit, a box filled with a variety of materials designed to allow families to explore this theme and engage Advent together.

The kit will include:

-Advent candles
-Weekly prayers to use when lighting the candles
-Sensory and tactile materials to go with the various themes
-Suggested activities for each week
-Other surprise goodies
