DR. MARI ANN CALLAIS OUTSTANDING FRATERNITY/SORORITY PROFESSIONAL AWARD
PURPOSE: To recognize an outstanding Fraternity/Sorority Professional who has provided superior support and guidance to a chapter and/or Fraternity/Sorority Community on campus.

BACKGROUND: Realizing the importance of strong inter-fraternity relationships and the value of Fraternity/Sorority professionals on our college campuses today, a 2005 joint meeting of the Grand Council and the Board of Trustees established this award to recognize an outstanding Fraternity/Sorority Professional to be presented at our National Convention. At the 2006 Convention in Atlanta, the award was renamed for Dr. Mari Ann Callais, Alpha Beta Chapter and then National President, in recognition of her positive influence in the Fraternity/Sorority and Fraternity/Sorority Advisor world.
