1. A presentation team may consist of a maximum of four presenters.
2. Proposals must address the “learning targets” for the conference and should enable participants to gain new knowledge, tools, resources, strategies, practices, or perspectives during the session.
Learning Targets:
* School Improvement Strategies
* English/Language Arts K-12
* Mathematics K-12
* IDEA/Special Education/Teaching Strategies for At-Risk Students
* English Language Learners
* Non-Public
* Homeless/Foster Care
* Funding/Finance
* Diversity
* Health and Wellness
*Early Childhood Education
3. Provide a presentation title as you would like it to appear in the program. Remember to avoid abbreviations and acronyms that may be unclear, and keep in mind that many attendees only read the session titles, not the descriptions.
4. Provide a clear description of your presentation (presentation summary) as you would like it to appear in the registration site; three to five succinct sentences are usually enough. Be sure the description clearly identifies who should attend (e.g., Grade K-2 teachers; Elementary Principals), what to expect from the session, and entices or encourages them to attend.
5. Proposals that are submitted by an exhibitor, vendor, publishing company, or other similar company need to be developed, submitted, and presented with an Ohio school or school district. They must also be able to share in the presentation how the product or service resulted in school improvement, impacted-instruction, changed behavior, or assisted with successful reform in a school or district.
*No stand-alone proposals from an exhibitor, vendor, publishing company or any similar company will be considered as a presenter.
**Due to the schedule of the conference and the number of proposals received, not all proposals may be selected.
