Thank you so much for being interested in being part of Connected Educator Appreciation Day on the 20th of October! We absolutely want this to be an experience for everyone!
By being part of the collective, you have the option of participating by:
● Attending, by watching/listening/engaging with our Zoom and FB Live streams or on Twitter;
● Participating on air, as a panelist for one of the sessions;
● Acting as a Media Outreach, helping get stories written in national/international/industry publications, both promoting the event and covering it for a post event article;
● Engaging, on Social Media during CEduAD

Please indicate which role(s) you're willing and available to help with, at the bottom. (If you sign up for a role, we really need you to be willing to take ownership of that role and just make it happen.)

The roles we need to fill:

ATTENDEE
Regardless of your level of tech involvement in the classroom, you are interested in learning more - sharing what you know or being inspired by or inspiring others, as a connected educator. We welcome you to watch the Zoom or FB Live feed, follow along on Twitter or just get involved by asking questions in the chat or on Twitter.  
What's expected?
● Just show up;
● Feel free to join in the conversation or ask your own questions;
● Be as engaging as you want or just be a lurker - no pressure.

PANELIST
You have knowledge and interest about one of our topics and aren't camera shy. You are happy to join as an on-air panelist and will provide a lively exchange of ideas, practices and lessons you have experienced.
What we will need from you:
● Photo, short bio and links to your social media page and/or website;
● Willingness to help promote the session you are part of via social media, blog posts, email, podcasts, etc;
● Participation on Zoom, with video, for one hour plus a tech check about 15 minutes prior;
● Participation by sharing, not selling. We are celebrating connected educators, not selling technology.

MEDIA OUTREACH
We want to make sure we get as many people involved in Connected Educator Appreciation Day as possible, this means everyone needs to know about the event!
Your tasks are:
● Find media partners;
● Get the word out;
● Get post event write-ups.

SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT
You love Twitter and Facebook and are willing to help us for at least one hour on CEduAD. Responsibilities include:
● Searching for people talking about CEduAD
● Engaging with those talking about CEduAD
● Finding questions from social media that we can bring into the on air conversation
● Being helpful - answer questions and guide people if they need assistance
