Call for Organizations
We are seeking organizations as co-hosts, collaborators, and other conveners around how live music and communities are acting, supporting, and planning ahead in the face of COVID-19.
We are exploring many issues around survival, thriving, and recovery from the live performance disappearance during the many stages of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
-- The event will be a virtual conference, on Zoom Webinar and livestreamed to YouTube, to share to lead conversations and share great ideas.
-- The conference tentatively will run from 1 pm Pacific Daylight Time on Thursday, April 23 to 2 pm on Friday, April 24. This is expanded from our original April 17 schedule, where we did one-hour pilot session.
-- Each speaker will be visible on camera.
-- Sessions will be 30 minutes each, with a goal of 2-3 guests per segment.
We welcome potential organizations as co-hosts- collaborators, and other help. We are not seeking funds and are trying to arrange this event for a very low budget. We do welcome in-kind contributions, marketing assistance, volunteers, and funding for support, but none is required to participate as a collaborator.
