RULES & REGULATIONS

Location: Parade will begin at Broadway and Baxter Ave. It will end at Barret Ave and Rubel Ave (just before Lexington Rd).

You will be required to arrive around 5PM to the designated staging area (communication to follow).

Review & acceptance of this application is not completed until the application fee has been paid in full.

You must pay the application fee. We will review your application and in the rare instance that you are not permitted entry to the parade, you will be refunded in full. Acceptance is not guaranteed.

Items not permitted in the parade: sprays, stun-guns, knives, guns, chainsaws, or weapon-related items; lasers, silly string, foam, drug paraphernalia and/or anything depicting drugs or drug use; obscene or X-rated material; gender, racial, nationality, religious or politically sensitive material. ALL units must be appropriate for all ages

Throwing candy or any item that may cause any crowd member to enter the street is strictly prohibited. Any unit violating this rule will be fined $500 and will not be permitted in the parade in the future. You may distribute candy, promotional material, etc. if it is handed directly to the crowd so long as it is done in such a way that the crowd remains on the sidewalks. Safety and security along the parade route is our number one priority and will be strictly enforced by police securing the parade and the Louisville Halloween Parade Team.

Parade is a rain or shine event. Unless the weather becomes dangerous, the parade will commence as scheduled. Please plan accordingly.

The parade application fee help make the parade possible. Parade application fees are non-refundable.
