This form is for parents or guardians to request a transfer for their child to attend a school other than their designated boundary school. This form is also used for requests to attend one of our district choice programs, such as Marysville Cooperative Education Partnership (Co-Op), 10th Street Middle School, Legacy High School Legacy Online, or Heritage High School or request to be placed on the wait list for Open Doors.
For the 2025 - 2026 school year, the following schools are currently OPEN for transfer requests: Tulalip Heritage, Legacy High School 9th-12th, 10th Street Middle School 6th-8th, Totem Middle School 7th-8th, Marysville Pilchuck High School 9th-12th and the Marysville Cooperative Education Program K-6th at Liberty Elementary School.
Open Doors at Totem and EVCC are open to request to be placed on the waiting list.
The annual ‘open window’ for in-district transfer requests for 1st-grade through 12th-grade students (including 10th Street and the Marysville Cooperative Education Program) shall be from March 1st through March 31st.
The annual ‘open window’ for in-district transfer requests for incoming Kindergarten students is from March 1st through June 1st.
Parents/guardians (for grades 1-12 only) submitting requests for transfers after March 31st, but
before June 1, will receive notification no later than June 30.
If you would like to request a transfer for more than one student, you must submit a separate form for each student.
