AJS 51st Annual Conference Childcare Grant
The AJS is happy to announce that it will again offer subsidies to offset costs of childcare for presenting participants at the 51st Annual Conference. This funding can be used to contract childcare services in San Diego, to pay for additional childcare at home while you are at the conference, or to cover travel to help bring a spouse or other care provider with you to the conference to take care of your child/children. These subsidies are meant to offset childcare costs specifically incurred due to your participation in the AJS Conference. Please note that funding is limited and is not guaranteed. If approved for funding, grant recipients will be required to submit receipts after the conference and will be reimbursed in January 2020. Funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis with preference given to early-career scholars and contingent faculty. The deadline to apply is Friday, September 6, 2019.
