Thank you for your interest in Teen PEP. The success of our program is dependent upon students who have the potential to be influential in helping equip peers with knowledge and skills to make healthy decisions. Students selected to become Teen PEP peer educators are trained to conduct fun, interactive workshops dealing with important issues including relationships, decision-making, pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and communication with peers and parents.

All applicants are required to participate in a Group Interview, which we will schedule with you after we receive your completed application. Potential candidates should have good attendance, be on track for graduation, and be able to attend an all-day retreat during the summer.

Attendance at an all-day summer retreat

Attendance at Teen PEP classes, workshops, and other program events

Attendance at an overnight, mid-program retreat to be scheduled after the program begins

Signature of your parent or guardian upon being selected as a peer educator to participate in anonymous state-required entry/exit surveys which include questions on knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to sexual health and the Teen PEP program curriculum.
