ASAP & MOCA Drawing Course Application
ASAP is very excited to partner with The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art to offer an introductory drawing course. Over the course of six weeks, participants will learn the basics of drawing, including value, line, positive and
negative space, perspective, and proportion. A variety of subject matters will be explored using pencil, charcoal, and other drawing materials. The session will be led by award-winning painter and teaching artist, Suzanne Stevens.

To be considered as a participant in ASAP & MOCA's drawing program, please fill out this application to the best of your ability. Due to the high volume of applications that ASAP receives, we are not able to grant admission to all applicants the first time they apply. Please use this application to tell us about yourself and your interest in the drawing course. This is your opportunity to demonstrate why you want to be involved in this program. Learning about your interests, passion, and background will help us put together a class with an array of perspectives and backgrounds.

Finally, please note that we are implementing an ongoing Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system throughout 2019. In order to participate in the class, all participants must complete a brief pre- and post-class assessment that measures the effects of ASAP's programming on skill-development and well-being. Your participation in our internal monitoring efforts will help us continuously learn from and improve our programs. If you have any questions about our M&E system, please do not hesitate to contact us at hello@asapasap.org. Thank you for your interest!
