Scholastic Chess Pizza Party!

What:  Scholastic Chess Pizza Party organized by the Charlottesville Chess Club and the Charlottesville Scholastic Chess “Geckos”. Interactive chess event for local scholastic chess players (K-12) led by Club Vice-President Joaquin Litzenberger and coach at Renaissance School and Mountaintop Montessori (1878 peak USCF). This is a fun event meant to bring the local scholastic chess community together around the love for chess and a desire to learn more and improve our chess skills. 


When:  Monday, September 22nd, 2025.


Where:  Charlottesville Chess Club - Address: 100 Alderman Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903.


Schedule: 6:30pm-8pm. 6:30pm - Pizza and 20 minute Lesson. 7pm - Unrated rapid games between participants (each player plays 3 unrated rapid games). 7:30pm - Interactive Team Chess Game.
