WELS Band Festival Hosting Form

Thank you so much for offering to open your homes to our guests from WELS high schools for the National Band Festival! Your assistance will help to ensure that our participants have a wonderful experience.

We will be hosting approximately 100 band students from 19 WELS high schools. Some directors will also need housing. They will be coming from Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, Washington, and Wisconsin.

PLEASE NOTE
You will be housing students or directors on the following nights: March 16, 17, and 18 (Thursday through Saturday).

We ask that you take your guests to church on Sunday morning, March 19, and serve them lunch before taking them to FVL for the concert.

Pick up times will vary for Thursday night, as schools will arrive at different times. You will be notified what time your guests will arrive.

Please provide a breakfast for them in the morning before they leave for rehearsal. The students should arrive at FVL by 8:30 on Friday morning, and between 8:00 and 8:15 on Saturday morning. Drop off time for Sunday will be 12:30 PM, and the Festival Concert will begin at 2:00.


Students can be picked up at FVL at 9:15 PM on Friday and Saturday. Rehearsal ends on these nights at 9:00 PM. You may want to provide a light snack for the students on the nights they stay at your home.
