Here we turn brave souls like you into Indie Studio Founders. We hope you're ready for the quest of a lifetime.
The Indie Game Foundry is a year long Early-Stage Educational Incubator. In it, five Founding Teams will each found their own video game studio with an actual business entity, will hire on additional Team Members for Revenue Share, will prototype, iterate and build out an original game concept, will fund that concept via Kickstarter, and will finally launch that concept to a store of their choice. All that, in just 12 months.
Cohort 0 of the Indie Game Foundry begins January 13th, 2025. The guided portion of the Foundry lasts until December 2025, but launched games will be expected to stay live all the way until December 2027.
As an Incubator, Foundry assists in company and game setup as well as employs a bevy of expert Advisors that each give 1 on 1 guidance to the Founding Teams, in addition to more standard marketing and release management support. As a result, Foundry does have a program cost.
Each accepted team for the Foundry will be asked to pay a total of $6,995 between them, meaning a team of 5 would each pay $1,399. However, Founding Teams keep 100% of revenue until they make back that $6,995. Once this money is paid back, Foundry takes a 30% cut for continuing services, after platform fees.

Applications for the Indie Game Foundry: Cohort 0 close December 7th at 11:59pm EST. The teams we choose are given serious consideration, and criteria about how to maximize your chances of being selected can be found in the FAQ above.
In this application you will be required to submit:
- Information about each of your Founders, up to 7 of them
- A video including every Founder and why you make an amazing team
- A Pitch Deck for a concept your team wants to make
The application will take 1-3 hours. Please take it seriously.
