The language of the conference will be English.

We encourage candidates to submit a paper or a proposal for poster presentation (in English) addressing the following subject areas:
• interpreter training
• translation training
• assessment in translation
• assessment in interpreting
• translation/interpreting technology
• market considerations in training translators and interpreters
• translator/interpreter competence profiles

Please note that the places are limited and the organisers reserve the right to uphold places for those who contribute to the conference either with a paper or with a poster presentation.

Registration fee:
Due to the fact that the event is funded by the ERASMUS+ KA2 strategic partnership, no registration fee is required.

The Organisers cover the following costs:
• organisational costs,
• catering
• reception - on 28 September 2018.

Travel and accommodation will be covered only for a limited number of invited keynote speakers, the rest of the participants will need to cover these costs individually.

By attending the event, the participants shall acknowledge that any photos, video or voice recordings that may be taken of them during the events might be used for the organisers’ purposes. The Centre for Modern Languages of the BME University shall have full, unlimited and transferable copyright in using these images and recordings of the participants, unrestricted by territory, time or further application.
