Outstanding Instructional Leadership Award Application
Recognizing High Quality Professional Learning requires meeting the standards, LF-MO will recognize instructional leaders who exceed in all seven National LearningForward standards. An instructional leader is defined as anyone (PD chair, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent, director, or superintendent) who has shown leadership qualities in guiding colleagues toward high quality professional development. Any LF-MO member may nominate a person or self-nominate for the award.

The LF-MO website will call for nominations in the fall. All nominees will be recognized and the winner announced
at the Show Me Professional Learning Conference. The winner shall receive an award at the Show Me Professional
Learning Conference, as well as a letter of recognition to the recipient’s superintendent/supervisor. This award may or may not be presented every year. The Awards Committee shall consist of representatives from the LF-MO board.

Please answer three of the following five prompts. Prompts one and two are required. Choose at least one additional prompt from three through five. Completing all prompts is optional. Providing evidence or specific examples within prompts will strengthen your application.

All prompts are correlated to the Learning Forward Professional Learning Standards.
