Assisi House
The retired Sisters of St. Francis are just around the corner, and awaiting your arrival. Be an Assisi House Volunteer Today! You can enrich many other lives by walking with a resident, reading to a resident, assisting with arts & crafts, participate in group or individual activities, singing, dancing, or playing an instrument, playing games together, or a host of other acts of kindness!

Ministry of Caring: Daily
Volunteer to help serve lunch at one of the three Emmanual Dining Rooms in Wilmington, DE. Daily, including Saturday and Sunday, Volunteers have the option to participate in serving our guest between the hours of 11:45am to 1:00pm and/or…between 10:00 (am) to 2:00 (pm).

Pennsylvania Immigration Citizens Coalition: Every Monday and Friday
Every week, the lives of hundreds of families are changed by becoming US Citizens. PICC believes that voting is one of the foundations of being an engaged citizen, so we attend every ceremony in Philadelphia to register new citizens to vote.

These ceremonies happen year-round, so we always need new volunteers. Volunteer shifts are available every week. You can sign up online for the days and times that work best for you!


Chichester SD: Weekly
The Chichester School District is looking for Music and/or Art Majors (or those with talents in this area) to assist with Music/Art Therapy in the classroom for low incidence students weekly. This would be conducted at 3 local elementary schools. Students must have PA volunteer background checks to participate.

We are looking for elementary education majors to volunteer to visit our Elementary Schools and Middle School ( k-6 ) to listen to students read, volunteer your time with games, etc. This would be weekly or more….

Compassionate Care Hospice
Compassionate Care Hospice provides specialized care and support for our patients and their families. Volunteers play a vital role in our services, including volunteering with: Patients, Families, Staff, and Bereavement — Working closely with bereavement staff, assisting with support groups and mailings.

Ronald McDonald House
The caring and cheerful volunteers of the Ronald McDonald House are the first voices families hear on the telephone and the first smiling faces they see at the door. Whether it’s planning and coordinating an evening family activity, supplying and cooking a meal for the families through our Guest Chef Program, being a part of our spring cleaning crew, or committing to a weekly shift, our volunteers make this House a home.

Volunteers staff the House from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. We have three different shifts: 9 a.m.-1 p.m., 1 p.m.-6 p.m., and 6 p.m.-9 p.m. (at least six people volunteer on each shift.)

Tyler Arboretum Youth Education Internship
Gain hands on experience in the professional world of youth development and non-traditional education. Youth Education interns work directly with the Youth Programs Manager/Summer Camp Director to enhance, plan and implement field trips, scout groups, birthdays and public programs. Interns will have hands on opportunities work with youth, other staff and to participate in the behind-the scenes pieces of program development and management. Applicants should have strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills and a positive personality. This volunteer internship commences in September (negotiable). We are looking for an individual who can commit to at least 8 hours per week (more hours available, if interested). Vetri Community Partnership
Vetri Community Partnership was founded in 2008 by chef Marc Vetri and restaurateur Jeff Benjamin to help kids experience the connection between healthy eating and healthy living.

A 501c3 nonprofit organization, Vetri Community Partnership empowers children and families to lead healthy lives through fresh food, hands-on experiences and education.

Lets Get Ready Summer
Summer paid part-time internship position at Upper Darby High School this summer. The position runs from mid-May to mid-August, and consists of about 15 hours of work per week, including attending program from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and working 7 hours remotely on a flexible schedule. Interns are offered a $2,250 stipend for the summer term. Applications are open now! Our priority deadline for applicants is Friday, May 16th, but the application will remain open until the position is filled.

Let’s Get Ready provides free SAT preparation, admission counseling, and post-enrollment mentoring to students from low-income backgrounds and first-generation-to-college students to help them get into and graduate from college. Our peer-driven program is administered by volunteer college students, keeping costs low and ensuring outstanding success rates.

Ronald McDonald Camp: 8/12 - 8/18
This volunteer opportunity will be the most rewarding and most exhausting week of your life. RMC is a place where these kids can enjoy being kids and relate to others who are experiencing a similar situation.

Located in the beautiful Pocono mountains—just three hours outside of Philadelphia—Ronald McDonald Camp looks like a traditional summer camp – but is so much more!

Camp Dreamcatcher: 8/19-8/25/2018
Camp Dreamcatcher is a therapeutic summer camp for children ages 5 through 17 who are impacted by HIV/AIDS.

We provide one counselor for every two campers and the session is held on the beautiful grounds of Camp Saginaw in southern Chester County, PA. The camp week is August 19th-25th and we urge you to register early. We accept applications on a first come, first serve basis. Over 230 counselors, medical personnel, professionals and community members volunteer during the camp session. It is a life changing experience for the campers and the volunteers. Transportation will be provided to the camp program if needed.

Volunteer Opportunities:
• Full-Time Counselor: Requirements include attending HIV/AIDS & Diversity Training in Kennett Square in June and on August 18th & 19th at Camp Saginaw. Full-time counselors live in cabins with the campers and attend all programs.
• Part-Time Counselor: You tell us when you are available! It can be a couple of days, every evening, one day, etc.
• General Volunteers: Registration on Sunday, August 19th from 11am-4pm, or assist with programming during the week. (basketball, lacrosse, arts/crafts, fishing, canoeing, etc).
• Fulfill your internship hours with Camp Dreamcatcher in the Spring or Summer Semesters.
