Application for entry to the Oakwood Church Photo Competition, Saturday 13 May 2017
The Organiser is Oakwood Church, Springwood Road, Leeds LS8 2QA.

All Competitors must be amateurs. A prospective Competitor may apply to enter one image per Category and up to 5 Categories within the Class determined by the Competitor’s age at 13 May 2017.

'Entry acceptance and confirmation of fees paid' must have been issued to the Competitor by the Organiser before images are captured. Fees
Under 11 years = 50p per Category
From 11 to 17 years = £1 per Category
Over 18 years = £2 per Category

Entry Fees can be paid in cash, but preferably in advance by Credit/Debit Card or PayPal using the payment facility at The Organiser declines to accept cheques for entry fees.

Fees are deemed to be non-returnable once an 'Entry acceptance and confirmation of fees paid' has been issued.

Images must be captured by the Competitor named in the application for entry and between the hours of 09.30 and 12.30 on Saturday 13 May 2017 and within 5 miles of Oakwood Church. No post-capture image editing allowed.

Images must be submitted digitally before 13.00 on Saturday 13 May 2017, either in person at Oakwood Church or by email to Each image submitted must be identified to the organiser by clearly associating it with the unique code (Competitor, Class and Category) issued by the Organiser on the Competitor's entry acceptance.

The person appointed by the Organiser to Judge each Class will take into account relevance to Category and how much they were subjectively impressed by each image. The Judge's decision is final.

Judges may award ‘Highly Commended’ Certificates to non-winning images that particularly impressed them.

Within each Class, the winner of each Category will receive both a Certificate and:
Under 11 years = A physical prize
From 11 to 17 years = £5 Cash
Over 18 years = £10 Cash
Best in Show = £15 Cash

Best in Show will be chosen from the 15 Category winners by ballot of those Competitors who are present in Oakwood Church for the Photo Competition Award Ceremony at 16.00 on 13 May 2017. One Competitor one vote. A voting slip will be issued by the Organiser to each Competitor with their ‘Entry acceptance and confirmation of fees paid'.
