FCN-RCN facilitates sharing ideas, knowledge, tools and experiences around building food resiliency and decreasing food insecurity, networking a wide diversity of communities coast-to-coast-to-coast, in both French and English.

This network is primarily for practitioners whose work/volunteerism focuses on the level of:
- Food policy groups (FPGs) working at local levels (informal or formal)
- Leadership and staff within Indigenous and settler governance tables
- Public Health workers
- Community-wide, non-profit, social purpose groups working on broader food system and/or governance issues
