Thank you for your interest in volunteering for our 9th Annual New Iberia Spanish Festival 
April 21, 22, & 23, 2023 | Bouligny Plaza | 102 W. Main Street, New Iberia, LA
Our Spanish Festival would not be able to continue to grow without the help and support of ALL our Festival Volunteers and Members. We appreciate all the hard work, dedication, and time spent to make our 3-day Festival a fun filled weekend. 

We are currently seeking volunteers for:
- PRE- Festival SETUP
- Volunteer CHECK-IN
- VIP Tent 
- Ticket Booth
- Drink/Beer Booth (must be over 21 years of age)
- Festival Merchandise Booth
- Car show
- Cook-off 

All volunteers must arrive on time for their complete shift
All volunteers will receive an official New Iberia Spanish Festival VOLUNTEER T-Shirt.

Please rank your selection(s) by preference if you are interested in multiple volunteer slots in the designated "other" option within each job question below. 1 being your preferred job, 2 being the next preferred job, etc.

Would you like to assist with PRE-FESTIVAL SETUP?    

PRE-FESTIVAL SETUP- (Total of 50 Volunteers) 
Assisting Board Members 1-2 days prior to the Festival weekend. Installation of banners and signs on stage and around Festival grounds. Helping direct Arts & Crafts Vendors and Cook-Off Teams to their assigned locations.

Would you like to work the Volunteer CHECK-IN?

VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN (Total of 24 Volunteers) 
Assisting Volunteers, making sure Volunteers check-in BEFORE and AFTER their shifts.
Distribute VOLUNTEER SHIRTS to assigned names who have registered as a VOLUNTEER

Would you like to work the VIP Tent?

VIP Tent (Total of 12 Volunteers) must be 21 years of age or over 
VIP Tent for Festival Sponsors, private bar, food, tables and chairs
 *
Would you like to work the ticket booth?

TICKET BOOTH- (Total of 24 volunteers)
Collect money and distribute the appropriate amount of tickets to festival goers for drinks/beer and cook-off tickets. To purchase ALCOHOL tickets, Volunteers MUST confirm that the festival visitor is 21 or over from the visitors driver's license. Once confirmed that the visitor is 21 or over, Volunteer will place an OVER 21 wristband. Festival visitor MUST have an OVER 21 wristband in order to purchase alcoholic beverages.

DRINK/BEER BOOTH- (Total of 24 volunteers, must be 21 years of age or over)
Collect drink/beer tickets, Festival visitor MUST have an OVER 21 wristband in order to get alcoholic beverages.
Distribute the appropriate drinks to festival goers, keep inventory

Would you like to work the Festival Merchandise booth?

FESTIVAL MERCHANDISE BOOTH- (Total of 24 volunteers)
Help Setup/Tear down booth, Collect money, keep inventory, distribute the appropriate festival items
 *
Would you like to assist with the Paella/Jambalaya/Tapas/Dessert Cook-off?               (SATURDAY ONLY)

COOK-OFF - (Total of 8 Volunteer slots, Opportunity for Saturday, April 22, 2023 only) 
Assisting with cook-off, distributing paper products to cooking teams, delivering samples to judges
10 AM- 2 PM- Cook-Off 
1:30 PM- Cook- Off Awards

Would you like to work the Car Show? (SUNDAY ONLY)

CAR SHOW- (Total of 8 volunteer slots, Opportunity for Sunday, April 23, 2023 only)
9:30 AM- 10:30 AM-  Registration OPENS/Check-In
9:30 AM- 10:30 AM-  Assist with parking cars 
11:00 AM- 4:00 PM-  CAR SHOW
12:00 PM- 1:00 PM-  Assist with counting Ballots/Votes
1:30 PM- CAR SHOW AWARDS
3:30 PM- 4:30 PM-  Assisting cars for departure
