VIEWS Music Camp for the Visually Impaired (July 14 – July 20, 2019)
Camp time is quickly approaching. Everything you need to know before coming to camp is in this package. All forms in the registration package and payment are due June 30, 2018 in order for camp staff to prepare programming.

Completed forms are sent to camp registrar automatically at the end of the application (see 'Fill out Form' link at bottom of page). FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: VIEWS Music Camp for the Visually Impaired is proud to present our first ever camper financial assistance program. This pilot project is intended to assist campers facing financial obstacles to experience all that this camp has to offer at a reduced rate. Further details on this program are provided at the end of this form.

General Information:

Arrival Date and Time - Sunday, July 14, 2019, between 3:00 and 4:30pm

Location - W. Ross MacDonald School in Brantford, ON (350 Brant Ave, Brantford, ON N3T 3J9)

Final Concert Time - Saturday, July 20, 2019 @ 1:00 p.m. (Families expected to attend; extended family and friends are always welcomed!)

Age Limit - 8+


VIEWS For The Visually Impaired prides itself on fostering a community of tolerance, acceptance, and inclusivity. It is important that these values are upheld, so that all campers can feel safe and welcomed as part of the VIEWS Camp family.


Snacks and/or Junk Food and Peanut Warning:
For everyone’s safety, we insist that Campers do not bring any snacks. All meals and snacks are to be provided by the camp, except under special circumstances. Any snacks brought by Campers will be disposed of at the discretion of the Music Camp for the Visually Impaired.

Valuables:
VIEWS, W Ross MacDonald School and Music Camp for the Visually Impaired will not be responsible for valuables. Campers should leave jewelry, cell phones and any other valuable items at home. Please label ALL personal items including tooth brushes, toiletries, clothes and CANES!

Storage:
Campers may have a small storage area available to them and are responsible for their own belongings.

Lost and Found:
At the end of camp, we do not want to have articles left behind with no way to return them to their owners because they are not labelled. Please label ALL items coming to camp.

Medicines:
All medicines must be in their original container, with child’s name and dosage amount clearly visible. Please include the information sheet which accompanies medicine from pharmacy, if possible. Please also include the method the child uses to take medicine (i.e. does the child take with water, jam, from syringe or spoon, etc. – please be specific). Please give all of the above to the Registration Desk upon arrival.

Receipts:
Your receipt will be sent to you after camp ends.

Music:
Please ensure that any music your child is currently working on is included.

Clothes:
Please put each day’s clothing in individual zip lock bags to ensure ease of use for child, at camp.
