Elul Groups 2017
Thank you so much for your interest in Elul Groups at Temple Isaiah! The Hebrew month of Elul which precedes the holy day season traditionally is a time for introspection. Our Elul groups will begin meeting the week of Sept 4 and continue meeting through Simchat Torah on Oct 11. Groups will meet weekly in a member's home for facilitated conversation and study utilizing a curriculum based on Alan Lew's book, This is Real and You are Completely Unprepared: The Days of Awe as a Journey of Transformation. You do not need to buy this book to participate; all readings will be included. However, if you would like to purchase the book for a fuller context, please do. No prior study experience necessary - all are welcome. Groups will meet FOUR times, once each during the weeks of Sept 4, Sept 11, Sept 25, and Oct 2. Groups will not meet the week of Sept 18 as Rosh HaShanah takes up much of the week. All Elul group members are invited to join us at Erev Simchat Torah services on Wednesday, October 11 at 6:15pm where Elul group members will receive a special honor. Simchat Torah is the holiday on which we celebrate the joy of Torah and Jewish learning!

We hope that you will join an Elul group and deepen your experience of the holy day season.

Please choose the day and time that works best for you. You will only meet ONCE during the week. Please note that groups will be strictly closed at 12 people. An option for a second choice is provided next. (More days and times may be added if all groups become closed.)
