For the entry to be accepted, payment must be completed once the form has been submitted.

The tournament is approved by TTE and Yorkshire TTA.

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES:  Saturday 6th of September 2025

The tournament is included in the Computer Ranking Scheme. Players will be ranked based on the latest computer ranking list, no restriction on gender (separate gender groups will run if there are enough entries). 
You will be participating in a round robin format followed by a knockout event. All players will be assigned to a group where you will compete against all other players within that group. If insufficient entries are received in any gender category that make the event non-viable, the Referee reserves the right to merge those categories into a mixed event.

REFRESHMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE DAY

Every group Winner will receive a box of balls. 
Every group Runner up will receive a medal.

TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS AND CONDITIONS  
  1. Every entrant must be affiliated as a Compete Plus Member or provide proof of being a member of another National Association affiliated to the ITTF and pay the appropriate fee in order to gain a reciprocal membership. An entrant who is not a TTE member or is affiliated as a Supporter or Club Play Member may alternately purchase a One-Off Tournament Pass at the time of entry via https://tabletennisengland.sport80.com/ once this product is launched. An entrant only affiliated as a Compete member may enter the tournament upon payment of the appropriate One- Time Tournament Top-Up fee via https://tabletennisengland.sport80.com/ It is not possible to obtain the OTTP or the OTTT at the tournament.

  2. TTE Regulations Part A (Regulated Competitions) and Part B (Tournament Regulations) apply to the tournament.

  3. ITTF Regulations for International Competitions apply to the tournament except where otherwise specified in TTE Regulations Parts A or B, or in this form. 

  4. Completion and submission of this Entry Form signifies agreement by the entrant to the conditions of the competition, including any variations of ITTF regulations.

  5. Entries must be submitted with full payment of fees. 

  6. If insufficient entries are received in any gender category that make the event non-viable, the Referee reserves the right to merge those categories into a mixed event.

  7. Playing clothing shall consist of a shirt and shorts, trousers, leggings or skirt, or a one-part sports outfit, socks and playing shoes; a sports hijab may also be worn. Other garments shall not be worn during play except with the permission of the referee. ITTF 3.2.2.1 amended. The main colour of a shirt, shorts, trousers or skirt, other than sleeves and collar of a shirt, shall be clearly different from that of the ball in use. ITTF 3.2.2.2 amended. Markings or trimming on the front or side of a playing garment and objects such as jewellery worn by a player shall not be so conspicuous or brightly reflecting as to unsight an opponent. ITTF 3.2.2.5.

  8. No competitor or official shall engage in betting on players or matches.

  9. Doping shall not take place either before or during play; and doping control tests may take place. 

  10. Completion and submission of this Entry Form signifies agreement by the entrant to the conditions of the competition, including any variations of ITTF regulations, and must be sent to huddersfieldttcompetitions@gmail.com. Full payment at the time of registration will be required to secure your entry. Entries received with no payment will not be entered. 

  11. Playing conditions - Sanwei 3* white balls, 6 Sponeta 22mm tables, 2 Butterfly tables 22mm tables, Butterfly & Contra & Imperial nets, LED lighting is per table(1240 lux). Floor to ceiling is approximately 3 metres and floor to lighting height is approximately 2.7 metres. The Floor in the hall is wood. Scoring machines will be used for all matches.Court sizes will be 9m x 4.5m minimum, with barriers surrounding each court.  

  12. No entry will be accepted after the draw has been made, subject to the discretion of the Referee. 

  13. All entries and event details are subject to COVID-related restrictions, or protocols that Table Tennis England may deem necessary. Venues used for events may impose COVID restrictions that go beyond government guidance. 

  14. All competitors may be required to umpire at least one match in each event entered.

  15. All matches shall be the best of five games up to 11. The final order in a group shall be determined as per ITTF regulation 3.7.5 for group competitions. 

  16. There will be no separate practice facilities, but competitors will be permitted to practice on match tables at the discretion of Control.

  18. TTE, the Organisers and the Referee will not tolerate bad language or verbal abuse of volunteers, officials, staff or venue staff, nor a failure to follow the operational directions of stewards and event staff. We will treat all such instances extremely seriously and will take disciplinary action if necessary.   19. Photo/livestreaming Huddersfield TTC may be taking photos and live streaming matches during this event which may include (but not limited to), using them in our printed and online platforms, social media, press releases and funding applications.   20. Entry closing date:  Saturday 6th of September 2025. The draw will be made on Monday 8th of September.

  21. If it becomes necessary to restrict entries, priority will be given in order of receipt.

  22. In conjunction with the TTE Child Protection Policy, persons wishing to take photographs or video images must register with the event organiser, producing their professional identification, TTE authorisation or a completed TTE authorisation form.
     

  23. All competitors will be required to sign in upon their arrival, should not leave the centre without notifying the referee. Players absent when due to play are liable to be scratched from their next match. Practice will only be permitted prior to the event starting. 

  24. There will be no charge for admission.

  25. All competitors must have been born in 1985 or earlier.

  26. Changing facilities will be available.

  27. The referee’s decision shall be final on a point of law and on any question arising not provided for in these regulations, or in any dispute as to the interpretation thereof. 

  28. Refreshments (tea/coffee/water, etc) and light snacks will be on sale (chocolate/crisps etc) 

  29. Car Park: An access code can be provided upon request for free parking. Street parking is also available (at owner’s risk)
