COVID Assumption of Risk Statement

The staff and volunteers of Saint Peter Lutheran Church and School have developed a plan to carry out Jesus Saves! Soccer Camp in a way that attempts to minimize the risk of participants being exposed to COVID from other participants. This plan includes such precautions as having three separate, smaller camps and avoiding close contact as much as possible for participants.

Please DO NOT send your child to camp if they are exhibiting any potential COVID symptoms. Thanks for your help in keeping our camp safe!

However, there does remain a risk in having children participate in Jesus Saves! Soccer Camp while COVID is still present in our community.

By digitally signing below, parents or guardians of camp participants are verifying that they are aware of the risks of participating in this soccer camp and are stating their intention to allow their children to willingly participate. By signing, parents or guardians are also stating their intention to not hold Saint Peter Lutheran Church and School, its staff, or its volunteers liable should their child become sick while participating in Jesus Saves! Soccer Camp.

- Soccer Ball (If you own one. Extras will be available at camp as well. Please put your family's last name on the ball in permanent ink)
What's New for Jesus Saves! Soccer Camp This Year:
To keep numbers smaller and allow us to carry out Jesus Saves! Soccer Camp in a safe way during this unique year, our camp has been split up into three smaller camps based on grade levels. The dates for each of the smaller camps are as follows:

Grades K-2 - July 25-27(Rain Date: July 28) 6:00-7:45 P.M.
Grades 3-5 - July 29-31 (Rain Date: August 1) 6:00-7:45 P.M.
Grades 6-8 - August 2-4 (Rain Date: August 5) 6:00-7:45 P.M.

The camps will take place at Gault Park in Saint Peter.

Each participant will receive a Jesus Saves! Soccer Camp t-shirt.

In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, we do NOT plan to serve a snack this year.

Unlike past years, we are asking each participant to bring their own refillable water bottle and soccer ball. (Extra soccer balls will be available for use for families that do not own one).

The smaller camp sizes will allow us to safely spread our participants out at Gault Park.

If weather causes us to need to cancel a day of camp, families will be contacted via email. One rain date is scheduled for each camp. Should a day of camp be canceled due to weather, the rain date will be used to make up that missed day of camp.
Free-Will Donations Appreciated!

While we enjoy being able to offer our camp free of charge to the families of our community, there is a cost to put on our camp each summer. If you feel moved to help support our camp, free-will donations will be accepted on the first day of each camp. Thanks for your support of Jesus Saves! Soccer Camp!
Your Camp Hosts: Saint Peter Lutheran Church and School
Saint Peter Lutheran Church and School exist to share the good news about our Savior, Jesus, to those in our community! We would love to have you join us for Sunday worship services at 8:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. We also operate a quickly growing school that serves about 100 students ranging in age from 3-year-old preschool through 8th grade.

Our school's mission is to prepare children both for their life on earth and for their eternal life in heaven through solid academics and all subjects taught by Christian teachers from the perspective of God's Word. Our small class sizes and the individual attention we are able to offer students allow them to thrive. Our Christian environment, close-knit family community, and our safe campus offer a great place for students to learn and grow!

Our school is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Let us know if you have an interest in learning more about our church or school!
