2026 Events Director Application Form
Thank you for your interest in the role of Events Director for the Data Visualization Society (DVS)! The goal of the Events Director is to provide spaces for data visualization practitioners to foster connections, be inspired, and inspire others. This Director is responsible for the overall vision and execution of the annual Outlier Conference, as well as small events hosted throughout the year.

Eligibility
Applicants must be DVS Plus Members in order to be eligible to apply to serve on the Board of Directors. If you have any questions about your membership status, please contact our Membership Director Alexandra Rohlfs at membership@datavisualizationsociety.org.

Process & Timeline

The Nominations Committee will review and discuss submissions in the weeks thereafter, and we aim to contact applicants about the status of their application during early November.
