The University of Fiji in collaboration with the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs, Pacific Islands Development Forum, Linköping University, Sweden and Australian National University (Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions) is conducting a 2-day workshop on Loss and Damage and the Climate Negotiations”. The workshop will be held from 13 to 14 October 2022, at Grand Pacific Hotel. The goal of the workshop is
“strengthening collaborations and
knowledge sharing.”
The workshop will be divided into two days and will explore:
- The diverse perspectives, experiences and meanings of loss and damage for various professionals and communities in the Pacific
- From the Pacific perspective, what are the tangible actions taken to address loss
and damage
- Implications for COP27 and future work within climate conventions
