Lit Crawl Portland 2018 Program Proposal Form
Welcome to Lit Crawl® Portland, 2018! This year, Lit Crawl kicks off the Portland Book Festival on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6-9pm (and then we party).

Please use this form to propose a Lit Crawl PDX event. We're looking for a wide variety of entertaining, interactive programs in which the madcap meets the cerebral. As a FREE, COMMUNITY EVENT, Lit Crawl is your chance to showcase authors, presses, and literary publications in creative ways that go beyond a traditional reading. Hosts and readers may present on a theme, run a game show with authors or audience members, or converse with other art forms such as music, film, or dance.

We encourage you to submit your literary performances, provocations, and other oddities IN COLLABORATION. We've established a close radius and limited the evening to three phases and 35 programs, to give audiences the advantage when navigating the Crawl. Please TEAM UP with your fellow presses, journals, orgs, and initiatives and bring your best ideas to the table. We're especially looking for well-conceived, creative programs that feature a diversity of voices, identities, and perspectives.

We'd love your proposals by AUGUST 15 (but earlier is appreciated), and we'll aim for a final program lineup by August 15. Events are allowed a strict 45 minutes each and will be paired with venues in downtown Portland according to size and program adaptability. If you'd like to suggest a venue, we're keeping this year's boundaries firmly between Broadway and 14th (East-West) and SW Main and NW Everett (South-North).

Thanks for your interest in Lit Crawl Portland! Please email for any questions about this year's Crawl.
