Serving - keeping food tables tidy and ready, mixing hot chocolate for kids, keeping hot water full, throwing away stray garbage

Barista/Coffee - experience needed: making espresso drinks for adults + teens during the event, machine + supplies provided

Music - play an instrument or sing for a portion of the event

Craft Station - help kids assemble crafts during event

Greeting - welcome at the door, help with nametags and traffic flow

Table Hosts - sit at a table with families to help kids with food, small games, etc.

Photographer - hoping for a small photo op/booth for family pictures

Ongoing Support for Foster Homes

Foster care comes with a high volume of paperwork, reporting, and phone advocacy, which significantly reduces a family's ability to maintain day-to-day home and existing family needs. Select ways you would be willing to support a local foster home in an occasional or ongoing capacity:

1-2 Hours of Yard Work/month (mowing, weeding, raking, etc.)

Grocery Pickup 1-2 times/month

Transportation (foster or bio kids, or quick errands) 1-2 times/month - this could be a trip to or from a class, to or from an appointment, dropping an item off somewhere for shipping or donation, etc.

Meals - 1 or 2 meals per month for a family nearby, pre-arranged drop off day and time

Laundry Help: help a family run laundry or fold it 1-2 times/month

Mother's Helper: once or twice a month offer an hour or two to play with kids while parent in the home works on paperwork/calls/social worker visits/meal prep, etc.

Gift cards (thinking along the lines of a nail spa, batting cages, bookshop, etc.) for foster parents, helping them be seen and loved - location will be clearly specified in follow-up email
