Aledo Robotics Parent Agreement
Dear Robotics Team Parents:
The Aledo Robotics FTC teams are competitive teams that require extensive time commitments on the part of its student members and their parents. Each year, the team:
•    competes at league meets on 11/15, 12/13, 1/10 and a tournament on 1/17,
•    competes at additional Saturday tournaments in January, February, March, and April based on advancement,
•    builds a competition robot,
•    builds a full-size practice field for our team and other teams to use,
•    has, at a minimum, weekly team meetings (more frequent meetings during build season),
•    participates in many outreach activities in the evenings and on weekends.

This level of activity represents a major commitment and lot of work for all involved with the team. We also require a huge volunteer effort from parents on behalf of the team.

Below, you'll have the opportunity to indicate the kinds of activities you would like to help with this coming year. As we proceed, the specific activities will become clear.

Please take the time to consider if you are willing to make this kind of commitment to the team. Without lots of parents participating, we burn out volunteers and do not achieve the impact we target.

Students are EXPECTED to attend all team competitions.
Students are EXPECTED to participate in outreach events on evenings, weekends, and in the summer. Students with a financial need can wave a portion of this fee.
