Ages 16- 20
The deadline to submit your application is Monday 16 September 5pm.
About the Programme
ChisenhaleHz, Chisenhale Gallery’s new programme for young people, centres around a collective of young people, aged 16 – 20 years, who meet regularly at the gallery. The programme started in January 2019 and following the first meeting, participants collectively decided on the name ChisenhaleHz, which reflects the multiple frequencies and voices brought together in the group.
We are recruiting new members for ChisenhaleHz. Apply now and meet artists, curators, writers and other creative practitioners and gain insight into how contemporary art is commissioned and produced. ChisenhaleHz work closely with the curatorial team at the gallery and using ideas and themes raised through the Commissions Programme, the group present public events. Over the next six months ChisenhaleHz will devise public events in response to new exhibitions by artists Sidsel Meineche Hansen and Imran Perretta.
The group meet twice a month throughout September 2019 - March 2020, on Wednesday evenings, 5.30 – 7.30pm. We ask participants to commit to participating for the full 6-month period.
Travel bursaries and food will be provided for all meetings.
Meetings: Wednesdays, 5.30- 7.30pm at Chisenhale Gallery
Deadline for applications: Monday 16 September, 5pm
Introduction to Chisenhale Gallery: Wednesday 25 September, 5.30pm
