Impact Awards 2018 Nominations
Our eleven award categories celebrate outstanding projects and people taking part in Student Representation, Global experiences, and Peer Learning and Support at the University of Edinburgh.

General Eligibility:
All activities that are nominated should be student-led, i.e. they should be run wholly, or in part, by students at the University of Edinburgh. The activities for which the nomination refers should have taken place in the 2017-18 academic year, or the summer prior to this (from June 2017).

Both students and university staff can nominate for all awards. Your details will be kept anonymous. Nomination comments may be quoted. Nominations will close on Wednesday 28th February 2018.

Achieving Significant Change on Campus
This award recognises a student representative who has achieved positive change for students at the University of Edinburgh. This could be through a short- or long-term project; through a one-off event or series of events; or through a campaign. Deserving students may have prompted a change of attitude among the student body; achieved policy change within the Students’ Association or the University; or had a significant practical impact on students’ everyday lives.

Eligibility for Representation Awards:
The award for ‘Outstanding Class Rep’ is open to any Class Rep active in the academic year 2016/17. ‘Class Rep’ can refer to any student representing a Class, Tutor Group, Programme, Department, Discipline or Year Group.

The award for ‘Outstanding Elected Representative’ is open to any rep elected through the Students’ Association to undertake their role in the 2016/17 academic year. This includes School Convenors and Vice-Convenors, Liberation Group Convenors, Student Group Convenors and Campaign Organisers.

The award for ‘Achieving Significant Change on Campus’ is open to a project, event or campaign by any Elected Rep or Class Rep in the academic year 2016/17.
