SBJN Community Medic Training Registration

Sustaining Our Communities Health is Our Duty! Street Medics as a concept originated in the US during Civil Rights and Anti-War movement for us to care for and protect our own! EMT’s and Paramedics take time to get on site we are already in the space and capable. Come learn how to be a first-responder to pregnant people, wounded & traumatized people as a community based alternative!

----

Community Medics sustained our communities health through Civil Rights and Anti-War movements, reawaken the skills our ancestors gifted us to be health advocates for one another. We will be learning basic life skills for tending to for pregnant people, neighbors experiencing trauma, wounded people and other community emergencies. We are the community based alternative, we are where community wellness starts. Disclaimer: This is a community based experience where skills will be learned, but this is not a certification and does not qualify attendees as any type of medical professionals.
